Delivery & Shipping Policy — Vellure Couture

Ready-to-Ship Items

  • UK Standard Delivery: 3–5 working days — £5.99 or free on orders over £100
    UK Express Delivery: 1–2 working days — £12.99
    International Delivery: 7–14 working days — calculated at checkout

    Ready-to-ship orders are normally processed within 1–2 working days. Delivery times begin from the date of dispatch and do not include the processing period.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Made-to-Order Gowns

Production typically takes between 8 and 14 weeks, depending on the design, fabric availability and level of detail required.

This production period does not include delivery time. The estimated completion timeframe will be confirmed when your order is accepted, and we will keep you informed throughout the production process.

UK standard delivery is included. International delivery charges will be calculated separately.

Bespoke & Custom Orders

The production timeline for bespoke and custom-made garments will be discussed during your consultation and confirmed in writing before your order is placed.

Please allow a minimum of 12 weeks for a fully bespoke piece. More complex designs may require additional time.

We recommend booking a private consultation and fitting appointment as early as possible, particularly when the garment is required for a specific event date.

Alterations & Tailoring

Alterations normally take between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the work and our current workload.

Collection from our Northampton boutique is available by appointment. Your estimated completion date will be confirmed when the garment is assessed.

International Customs & Import Charges

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local charges applied by the destination country, unless these charges have already been collected at checkout.

Customs clearance may occasionally cause delays that are outside the estimated delivery timeframe.

Delayed or Missing Deliveries

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please contact us so that we can investigate the delivery with the courier.
